Solo CT rock force DC Wolves releases “No Alarm” music video

Solo rock actor Dan Cahill—DC Wolves– takes a daring position in his new music video, “No Alarm”, taken from his latest EP, Nightjar.

Directed by Pat Healy, the clip serves as a cry for the collective good. Cahill denounces apathy towards real-world issues like public safety, social justice, and poverty, and urges listeners to take intentional action in the world we create for ourselves. Through contagious riffs, contemplative lyricism, and a chorus you can’t help but sing to, DC Wolves picks up steam with each new release.

“When the pandemic started, we weren’t quite done with the Nighthawk record,” Cahill said. “And in the time it took to get from early 2020 to the album’s release, so much had changed in the world. ‘No Alarm’ was originally intended as a commentary on the apathy towards the right to vote, but when we started working on the video, we quickly realized that the song’s message had evolved and expanded.

He continues: “We decided to create a video which, instead, covered the news more broadly. Those of us who are privileged to live in a democratic society have a heavy responsibility to set policy and lead change. Helping to uplift society as a whole with our right to vote, to speak out and to demonstrate peacefully. It’s never too late to stand up for something bigger than yourself. “

“No Alarm” is featured on the band’s 2021 EP, Nighthawk, and is out now. A true force in DIY music, DC Wolves is gearing up for another full album, due out later this year. Learn more and stay in touch at
